HEC has excellent color development. It has excellent compatibility with most colorants and connecting materials, making the preparation of latex paint have excellent color consistency and stability. The universality of its application in the formula is that it is a non-ionic ether. Therefore, it can be used in a wide pH range (2-12) and can be mixed with components in general latex paints such as reactive pigments, additives, soluble salts, or electrolytes.
